To do this, we offer a 6-step lawn fertilization program that features multiple applications of fertilizer throughout the year. In addition to lawn fertilization treatments, this program also includes pre- and post-emergent weed control treatments to keep weeds from taking over your turf and stealing nutrients and other resources from your grass. Our lawn fertilization schedule is as follows:
- Step 1 (March 15th - April 15th): As the growing season gets underway, we will apply our first fertilizer treatment of the year to help your lawn start the spring season on the right foot. We will also apply a pre-emergent weed control treatment to help prevent weeds from sprouting on your lawn.
- Step 2 (April 15th - May 30th): During our second visit to your property, we apply another application of fertilizer to encourage robust growth and replenish your turf's nutrient supply. We will also apply a pre-emergent weed control treatment to help prevent weeds from sprouting as well as a post-emergent treatment to eliminate any existing weeds.
- Step 3 (June 1st - July 15th): We apply our third fertilizer treatment during our early summer visit to help your lawn make it through this hot season. We will also apply another round of post-emergent weed control.
- Step 4 (July 15th - August 30th): During our mid-summer visit, we apply another round of fertilizer to strengthen your grass and get it ready for the coming fall season. We will also take care of existing weeds via another post-emergent treatment.
- Step 5 (September 1st - September 31st): For our fifth application, we apply a fertilizer with enhanced nitrogen to help your grass recover from the heat of the summer. We will also spot-spray any existing weeds during this visit.
- Step 6 (September 31st - November 15th): For our final application of the year, we apply another fertilization treatment to your lawn to help it make it through the winter and green up quicker once spring rolls around.
